Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The six-question quote tool asks for gender, birthdate, general health level, tobacco use, the coverage amount and the term length you want. Those answers alone are enough to show you carrier rates. We ask for your name, location, and health details only if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are the quoted rates from each carrier for the class you chose. After you apply, the carrier will conduct underwriting, which may confirm that class, move you to a better one, or change it. The final premium is set by the carrier after underwriting. Nothing here is an offer of insurance or a guarantee of price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name and the application is built from the exact quote you selected, then opens on the carriers' application platform. You can stop, leave, and resume anytime. You sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles every application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier, the amount, and your answers. Carriers that offer immediate decisions can decide right away for applicants who qualify; each quote shows whether an exam is required, might be needed, or is not required.
Is a longer term better?
A term should cover the years when your family would be financially damaged if you were not there: a mortgage, kids, a business loan, your spouse's gap years if they go back to school. Longer terms lock in a lower rate for longer. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years in minutes.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The six-question quote tool asks for gender, birthdate, general health level, tobacco use, the coverage amount and the term length you want. Those answers alone are enough to show you carrier rates. We ask for your name, location, and health details only if you decide to apply.
